A hereditary disease characterized by congenital dysplasia of one or more ectodermal structures and other accessory appendages is medically termed as Ectodermal dysplasia. Hypohidrotic or Anhidrotic forms are the most common among this large group of hereditary disorders. Hypohidrosis, Hypotrichosis and Hypodontia constitute the main symptoms of this syndrome. Here with presenting a case study of Anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia in siblings of 5 and 7 yr. old.

Aim & Objective- To find out association between number of doses of Dinoprostone E2 gel require and various feto-maternal outcomes
Material & Method- It was a hospital-based descriptive longitudinal study to find obstetric outcome of single versus double application of prostaglandin E2 gel for induction of labour.
Result & Conclusion- prostaglandin application for induction of labour lead to decrease duration of labour, caesarean delivery. There is no significant difference in maternal complication and fetal meconium aspiration in single verses double application of PGE2 gel.

This study was done to determine the release of cytokines (IL-6, IL-8 and TNF) in stored whole blood. Fifty (50) samples were collected from 50 subjects for the study. These comprise of 25 males and 25 females. The subjects comprise of adults aged 18-40 years with 29 years as the mean age. The study was conducted at GEM Research Laboratories. The IL-6, IL-8 and TNF were assayed respectively for all subjects on 0 day, 14th day and 35th day. The mean levels of IL-6, IL-8, and TNF were 10.68 pg/ml, 3.40 pg/ml, and 1.43 pg/ml respectively for 0 day, 7.56 pg/ml, 16.52 pg/ml, and 7.88 pg/ml respectively for 14th day, and 5.12 pg/ml, 124.24 pg/ml, and 59.08 pg/ml respectively for 35th day. Significant statistical difference (p<0.05) was observed in IL-6 and IL-8 mean levels across all groups (0/14th day, 0/35th and 14th/35th day) compared except in 0/14th where TNF mean levels showed no significant statistical difference (p>0.05). We recommend pre storage white cell reduction for whole blood and all red cell components.

International trade has significant impact on economic development and performance of the country. It encourages employment, entrepreneurship, economic activity, uplift living standard of the population and increases the industrial productivity across all sectors. Moreover, the economic stability of the country comes with ability to conduct business globally, also it reflects the relationship of one country with rest of the nations. This study investigates the economic performance of Pakistan by analyzing the imports and exports data from the year 2000 to 2022. The Present research used time series secondary data, achieved from the World Development Indicators (WDI). With the application of ARIMA Model, the results showed that the import products of Pakistan have increased, while the export of goods and services as percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) decreased. Moreover, this study also predicts the next seven years of Pakistan’s economic performance by utilizing this data to provide long-term picture, enabling the researchers to further investigate the impacts of international trade of developing countries.

The single-unit full-coverage crown is a fixed dental appliance that completely restores a severely decayed tooth. In practice, practitioners may encounter at least one occurrence of loosening of this crown. Previous studies indicate a prevalence of 0.55 to 5.5% at 5 years, and that it adversely affects patients\' esthetics. The aim of this study was to describe the loosening of a single-unit total veneer crown in the anterior region. This is a prospective cross-sectional descriptive study conducted the month of January 2015 to the month of January 2020. All patients with a loosened anterior single-unit full-coverage crown who consulted the dentistry department of the Dispensaire Kintana and the Centre de Soins Spécialisés en Odonto-Stomatologie, CHU Mahavoky Atsimo were included in this study. Those who did not wish to be surveyed were excluded. The study comprised 32.6% men and 67.4% women. Forty-three (43) loosened crowns were identified, 46.5% of which occurred less than a year after placement, 37.2% between 1 and 3 years and 11.6% between 4 and 6 years. The associated factors were overbite (62.8%), inappropriate dental preparation (46.5%) and poor choice or handling of bonding materials (37.2%). A significant relationship was found between the occurrence of loosening and overbite and bonding materials, p=0.018. Loose crowns are mainly due to clinical errors. To ensure the success of the prosthesis, prosthetists must be vigilant in pointing out any errors to the practitioner before making the crown.

Anterior unitary edentulism is the absence of a tooth in the anterior region, which affects patients psychologically. Therapeutics are varied, but odontostomatologists sometimes find it difficult to reach a decision due to various parameters. The aim of this study was to determine the therapeutic decisions made by odontostomatologists in Mahajanga. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out among 50 odontostomatologists in the city of Mahajanga between July 2022 and July 2023. Odontostomatologists registered in the national order who practised dental prosthesis and who agreed to be surveyed were included in this study, and those with incorrectly completed forms and who were not resident in Mahajanga were excluded. The sample was 56.36% male and 43.64% female. Resin partial dentures were the most frequently proposed (100%) and practiced (96%) prosthesis, followed by conventional bridges (32%) and bonded two-wing bridges (14%). This therapeutic decision was significantly related to patients\' financial means (p=0.001), strongly related to patient occlusion (p=0.000) and significantly related to practitioners\' prosthetic knowledge and skills (p=0.044). Practitioners in Mahajanga had done very little fixed prosthodontics. However, dental implants and cantilever bonded bridges are the most indicated in cases of anterior single-tooth edentulism, as they are tissue-sparing.

Background: The newly developed herbal Formulation (LIV01-SSA-23), that has a combination of multiple medicinal herbs such as the powders of Solanum nigrum, Holarrhena antidysentrica, Tephrosia purpurea, Andrographis paniculata, Phyllanthus niruri, Tinospora cordifolia, Terminalia chebula, Asteracantha longifolia, Alstonia scholaris, Berberis aristata, Chichorium intybus, Picrorhiza kurroa, was tested for its antioxidant and free radical scavenging activity in vitro. This PHF has been traditionally used by the ayurvedic practioners in India, for the treatment of various liver complications and inflammatory disorders.
Methodology: The developed formulation was tested for total reducing power and in vitro antioxidant activity by ABTS assay, Superoxide anion scavenging activity assay and Lipid per-oxidation assay.
Conclusion: In conclusion, we strongly suggest that Polyherbal formulation are source of potential antioxidant for radical scavenging. The highly positive correlation of anti?radical scavenging activity and total polyphenolic content in Polyherbal compounds indicates that polyphenols are important components which could be used for the free radical scavenging activity. Further study is needed for isolation and characterization of the active moiety responsible for biological activity and to treat in various stress condition.
