Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease mainly acquired through consumption of infected animal products such as milk and meat. It is one of the leading zoonotic diseases and is a serious public health concern in endemic areas.Specifically, the review aimed at updating the burden of brucellosis in Uganda.Different research engines were utilised in writing this paper such as web of science, Pubmed Central, Scopus, Medline, Google Scholar, Researchgate, Academia Edu, etc.Prevalence of Brucellosis is low in Uganda. Being a Butcher, Milking, drinking raw milk are highly associated with brucellosis. The commonly used antimicrobials to manage Brucellosis are highly active against brucella except rifampicin. Brucella infection should be among the plan for treatment of febrile illness alongside malaria and Typhoid. Support is needed to allow more analysis on isolates such as sequencing and phylogeny analysis to learn more on the management of Brucella Epidemiology and ecology in this region.

Pregnancy demands unique nutritional necessities different from those of women who are not pregnant, involving vital roles of vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids. These elements are pivotal for the progression of a healthy pregnancy, aiding mothers in coping with common discomforts and averting complications. Presently, supplementation recommendations for pregnant women vary across nations, prompting the need for comprehensive nutrition counseling as a pivotal aspect of prenatal care. The state of a woman\'s nutrition has a major effect on her health, the course of her pregnancy, and the welfare of her fetus and newborn. Providers of healthcare must recognize and address these distinctive nutritional requisites, advocating for tailored counseling that considers diverse factors such as availability of food, social, ethnic background, cultural dietary selections, and body mass index. Adjustments become imperative in instances of pregnancy complications like gestational diabetes. Collaboration with nutritionists or registered dietitians is instrumental in delivering effective dietary interventions. This review underscores the benefits and current guidelines for mineral, vitamin, and omega-3 fatty acid intake during pregnancy while cautioning against the adverse effects of excessive nutrient consumption and advocating for consistent nutritional guidance.

Studies on empathy have shifted away from the broad humanistic ideal of how teachers should treat learners toward understanding how teacher behavior affects learners\' attention, trust, classroom participation, and sense of emotional safety. This article reviews literature on empathy in language teaching in five historical phases: the humanistic/communicative period, the interactional period, the affective classroom period, the positive psychology/emotion period, and the current interpersonal communication period. Early publications viewed empathy as an aspect of teachers\' general humanistic attitude toward students. Recent publications characterize it as observable teaching practices that help students attend to instruction, take risks with the target language, and cope with anxiety. In studies from the Ecuadorian university context, a shift in thinking from general teaching philosophy toward observable behaviors seems evident in research on rapport, classroom climate, student-centered teaching, and sympathetic communication. Learners react positively when teachers communicate that they understand and care about them, respect their identities, and make them feel safe. The article shows that sympathy is more than moral ideal; it is a prerequisite for language learning.
